What we see, do we want to believe?
Jiyuseki, the artist behind the work of "malleable" stones certainly caught my attention. It brings a whole new term to "seeing is believing" ... or does it? | We find new things to use, the way it wasn't intended of and here we see it interpreted in what we hope to see stone can be useful to us in other ways. | What goes in our minds "it looks so real!" keeps us fascinated... that's when the wanting keeps coming.
When you're a kid, have you ever wished the soap you played with turned colourful like a rainbow? Well okay truthfully, that never crossed my mind as a kid. I just love punchin tons of soap onto my hand and blow tons of bubble till my mum screams at the amount of wastage I created. | The brilliant thing about such work of art and photography these days is that it puts a smile on our faces. It reminds us of who we were as a kid ( or who we wanted to be as a kid if we didn't have that childhood ) and relieving it as an adult. Well, sorta? *awkward grin*
