Hi! Read in your bio that you're a fashion comm student? And from lasalle? Can you tell me more about your course and what you study? Did you take the diploma course in laselle before moving on to degree? Am interested in applying to lasalle so any info would be alot of help! Thanks'!
Hi there! Yes I am a fashion comm student from LASALLE. My course teaches aspects you will need to move into a fashion magazine firm. So you will learn Art Direction, Photography, Journalism and Styling. I also pick up stuff you will learn like from design comm so you will be able to touch onto branding and packaging.
I took on Degree course but if you would wish to somehow stop studying along with people who are graduating with the diploma, you can choose to do so. However the diploma cert is not exactly consider as a diploma. If I am not wrong it is like a higher study?

Hi! Thanks for the reply, that's exactly what I want to do! Can you tell me about the workload and the overall environment of the school? Seems amazing :) so you didn't take the diploma at lasalle before doing degree? I'm not sure if they will accept my diploma I have currently with a private school :/ so I might have to spend another 3 years in the diploma, worried that ill be older than everyone else haha
Workload is pretty heavy for communication and the environment of the school is good! Now all that sounds fine but I would have to probably give you the downside of matters. Every semester you go through, you are made to do the same thing but to execute it in different ways. You will always be involve in photo shoots ( do expect to be spending on renting studio and hiring models as well as props etc. ). Heading into my final year, it tends to become very repetitive.
As for whether you have a current diploma or not, the school usually would like to see your portfolio during the interview. Your artistic side and perhaps your passion for fashion is what matters!
And age isn't a problem in LASALLE! I have friends in their very late 20s. :)
